The food is incredible, drinks are great. the staff are really nice, Luke and Alicia in particular. i was served food by Luke and his attitude was great. Alicia made my iced coffee and made it sweet as i had requested, it was delicious so yummy!! Luke and Alicia were very nice and very helpful as they recommended me good options from the menu. All was great and i definitely enjoyed the food, drinks and atmosphere. i would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to check this place out!
We made a mistake in going there on a derby day so the food service was slow. Had to wait for over 45 min for a Sunday roast and some calamari. The pork was very nice but the calamari a bit chewy.Food: 4/5
We enjoyed a Sunday roast in the outdoor area and also managed to watch the Wimbledon tennis final. The food was excellent, as was the service.Food: 5/5
Honestly; have had good times here before, but the most recent experience is extremely gross. I tried to mention the state of the ladies toilets and was immediately shut down by a member of staff who quickly told every other member of staff to ignore/not speak to me. This used to be a great pub but with current management and behaviour is sickening. Not being able to comment on the state of the ladies and being told you’re ’the problem’ is WILD. Gross pub, don’t go, awful staff. Pictured are toilet and staff to avoid.
Luke was brilliant, waited near enough seconds for my rather large order he had it on lock! Fantastic work from the kitchen team, Chloe, Ethan, Jake & Dave my hats go off to you! Our food was delicious thankyou!Food: 5/5
Friendly family pub with very large beer garden in the yard at the back. Nice atmosphere. Food was good although quite a few things on the menu unavailable. On the day we were here they had rugby on screens inside and football on screens outside. This got some comments from some people. None of it was loud, very relaxed place.
Luke Hogan provided an exceptional experience during our visit! His service was incredibly speedy, ensuring we never had to wait long for our drinks. The presentation of the cocktails was top-notch, looking as good as they tasted! What truly made our time special was how warm and welcoming Luke was to both me and my girlfriend. His friendly demeanor and attention to detail made us feel right at home. We’ll definitely be returning, thanks to Luke’s outstanding hospitality!
I recently visited the Edinboro Castle and had a fantastic experience, especially as someone with dietary restrictions. I ordered the gluten-free fish and chips, and I couldn’t have been more pleased with both the service and the food. From the moment I mentioned my gluten intolerance, the staff went out of their way to make sure I felt safe. They were knowledgeable about cross-contamination and reassured me that they took every precaution. This level of care really put me at ease and made the whole dining experience stress-free.
Great atmosphere, food was far above what we anticipated. Staff were keen. Shout out to Luke who was friendly and very efficient, went out of his way to make our experience better. Would definitely consider becoming a regular customer :Food: 5/5
Went their with colleagues. None of us liked the place. Even before entering it, from a distance could hear lot of noises. On entering, the queues for even beer were too long. Not a place if you want to talk or spend some quality time. It's like go there, pick a beeras its nice and famous for it and not sit for hours. If you go, prefer getting a place to sit outside. Inside screens for sports are there, but it feels so much congested types.
