Shocking! 3 of us went for some lunch on Sunday. One of the meals ordered was roast beef. When eventually the food was served, the beef was dry and curled up and the portion was less than a child's. This portion was refunded, however, the whole experience left us feeling disappointed and hungry. Would not recommend and will not visit again. This isn't the first time either that the food was atrocious!

I used to love this pub and rated it amongst the best in the local area. Unfortunately, everything has slipped. In particular I have now visited on three occasions where it took over an hour to see my food, two of them being on relatively quiet days. Not particularly child friendly here either.

Came for a hangover Saturday morning breakfast, we had been in in the evening to sample their real ales and noticed the weekend brunch menu, we ordered two ember full English breakfast, the tea arrived first and it was proper tea.. Made with hot water and everything. The breakfast arrived soon after and it looked fantastic, I liked the fact that the sausages were British farm assured, it was all very well cooked and presented, and it all came at a very reasonable price, if I had to find a fault, purely for balance, then the butter for my toast was a little too cold to spread. Fab service, staff are lovely, we will be back!
