Great drink stop on a hot day!! Lovely Thai style food up for order, little bit for me on the hot side but well cooked and very authentic!! Well worth a trip, just wish I could have stayed longer! Hats off to the Thai lady who looked to be the head chef; outstanding food!
Some of the best Thai food I've had in ages! Plenty of tables inside and nice staff. £5.45 for a pint of lager.
What a hidden gem this place turned out to be. Gorgeous pub, great drinks and the most amazing Thai food we have ever had. The atmosphere is perfectly matched to the local surroundings, very easy going and relaxed, and the staff are lovely! We will be visiting again very soon. Thank you!
Just read all the good reviews; they say it all! We had a wonderful family Thai-based meal, with great choices for meaties, veggies and vegans alike. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the tasty beer!
Brilliant pub, great selection of beers. Amazing Thai food too. Just off the beaten track so one the locals know is good.
Great atmosphere and food was absolutely wonderful. Great Thai street food.
Thai food is sometimes superb, sometimes a bit meh and slow. I can only assume it depends on who is cooking it. The pub has a good selection of drinks on tap and the staff are always friendly. There are cosy booths and tall group tables and it manages a cosy and airy atmosphere at the same time. Toilets are upstairs and in a reasonable condition for Brighton though I was unable to find any baby changing facilities, a great shame as the space is good for lunch.
We must have gone on 2 off days judging by the other reviews. Popped in for some lunch as Zaab at the Mucky Duck was on Holiday best Thai in town. Didn't think much of the Thai food on both occasions. Gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time but wont be going back a third. Decent selection of beers though.
Staff was really rude. I’m 29 years old and the girl asked for my ID, which I didn’t have. I totally understand so was happy not to drink so went to stand with my friends without a drink. She came to kick us out at 8 and was very rude and abrasive. Lost a few long term customers.
5 stars for food. 0 for bar staff. 2 girls that clearly don't care about the customers. Too busy staring at Instagram to realise they had missed a meal off the order and then rude about their mistake. No apology and made to wait another 30mins for the missed meal. Maybe would be less of a wait if the bar staff helped the poor cook with the waiting or clearing of tables
