Story

The Balcony Cafe, Kensingtons is a very special little cafe in the North Laine of Brighton. Whether you're looking for a gut busting breakfast, some tasty home made chilli, a bowl of cheesy chips or just a cup of tea, this is the place to be. It's not just the vast array of delicious food, or even the spacious balcony that makes this cafe special, we strive to provide friendly and warm service, and great music, to create an atmosphere which reflects our fun, vibrant, creative and eclectic little town.

Really good vegan options. I had the vegan pancakes with hash browns and sausages & a caramel milkshake! Sat on the balcony outside, was super cute and cozy. Staff were really friendly too Will definitely return sometime soon
Went here for breakfast and managed to get a seat on the roof terrace which was lovely as we overlooked the laines. The food was really good too with lots of dietary options including vegan milkshakes which were amazing!
Great food and atmosphere with very generous portions for the price. We had a slight order miscommunication within our group but staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating to resolve our issues! Fab options for vegans and meat-eaters alike!
Milkshake was very nice and the outdoor seating area was amazing, lots of covidiots dining here so watch out! Food is a tad pricy but really good, nice decor.
Perfect place to eat nachos and burger. It's a lot and it tastes really good. The staff is super nice . You can sit outside or indoors.
I had nachos and milkshake and they were so delicious. Would recommend
