Popped in for a quick dinner and a drink - very pleasantly surprised! Servers were very attentive and accommodating, excellent value for money. Cute touch to include chocolates with the tea/coffee - something you’d expect in a artsy cafe, so was impressed! Highly recommend if in the Harrow area - we will be back : Vegetarian options: Parsnip soup is a great choice for any vegetarians.
Nice pub, clean and tidy - good service pretty expensive but it's a nice drama free spot, so evens things out :Food: 4/5
We booked prior to our visit. On arrival, we were directed to our table which had been reserved with my name. We pursued the menu and chose meals from the Sunday lunch menu. The food was delicious and rather substantial considering how very reasonably priced the set menu was. All staff were knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. We were asked immediately on ordering if anyone in our party had allergies and there wasn’t a long wait for our food to arrive, it was beautifully presented and piping hot! The establishment itself was tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. We never once felt rushed. After our meal, we took the opportunity to sit outside with our drinks, there are plenty of shaded areas to sit under as well as the usual outdoor picnic style seating. Overall, The Duck In The Pond is a great little spot for a meal with friends or family, staff are welcoming and inviting, it’s value for money and well worth a visit!
This was the first pub we went to when we got to England. I wouldn't say it was an authentic pub experience I grew up in England but the drinks and food were top notch. It was low key when we went before 9pm because we had a minor with us. The roasted chicken was lovely. Overall a wonderful experience. I would definitely go again!! Dietary restrictions: I have Celiacs Disease and was able to eat the roast chicken which was yummy. My husband and cousin eat fish and vegetarian only and we're able to find lots of options. Kid-friendliness: My kids felt right at home and not in a hole in the wall pub.
Refreshing Pink Paloma, delicious grilled sea bass lunch with lovely service and setting to match the weather Dietary restrictions: Perfectly adhered to my allergies, thankful for this attention to detail
Busy pub with limited parking space. Choice of food which is reasonable & one has got to be careful of not being overcharged for any drinks. 21.3.22 Management has changed & who need to become familiar with any offers being promoted on behalf of the pub! Friendly staff. 23.3.22 Apparently no staff to cook food & customers are kept waiting with dirty tables & bar! Unacceptable. No point in providing meal vouchers if they can't be used! Ridiculous. 17.7.22 Tasty duo roast lunch served on Sunday by friendly staff. Toilets need to be kept clean & smelling fresh. 22.11.22 & 28.2.23 Tasty food served by friendly staff in ambient surroundings. Some items on the menu were not available! 29.4.33 The tables need cleaning & clearing up, as do the toilets! Bright & lively atmosphere. 22.11.23 Tasty food served by friendly staff in a clean environment, however, the stinking toilets & corridors need cleaning & freshening up! 6.3.24 Tasty food served by friendly staff in a cosy atmosphere. However , the toilets & corridor are overcome by the overpowering stench of urine!
I went to duck in the pond with my cousin and friend we had the most delicious steak done just how we all wanted it .witch was different for everyone. And the drinks are good with great choice . Staff very friendly and helpful. Great beer garden family friendly. Also great prices for booking party's.Food: 5/5
I came here on a weekday with my husband and his parents. We managed to take advantage of the fixed price menu, which was a nice deal. I decided to go with one course and ordered the lentil and spinach pie, which turned out to be a vegetarian version of cottage pie. I was surprised at how tasty it was—a solid vegetarian meal that I highly recommend. The portion was a bit small, however, so I got hungry soon after. Maybe the portion is larger if you just order from the regular menu? I should have gotten a dessert for just an extra £2!
It's a great pub to enjoy English food. Food was tasty and the service was decent. It's a bit slow though.Food: 5/5
Service was 10/10 was served by Lewis and Ella and both were super friendly and helpful and worked great together! The Guinness was on point with a perfect shamrock, never had a better Guinness in my life! Would definitely recommend and the two servers were fab! Will be back.Food: 5/5
