Absolutely amazing! Saying that this is one of the best pubs is an understatement! Everything here is perfect - the service, the food and the atmosphere. It had a beautiful beer garden, lovely outdoor seating and great views! The food was incredibly fresh and flavorful, with an amazing, traditional cuisine. The members of staff were also very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this pub, it is a lovely place to go with friends including your pooch and enjoy great tasting food and just have a good time in general.
Love this place! So happy to have found such a gem. We went for a Sunday roast and left absolutely satisfied. Great food, with good desserts for after, really friendly and attentive staff. Great drinks selection and a really scenic large outdoor area. We will definitely be back and we will be bringing people with us!
Amazing place definitely reccomend it to anyone.. Most amazing staff always smiling and happy giving an amazing atmosphere. Food is fantastic and love the burgers. Reasonably priced. Tonnes of space has a play sets for the kids many benches.
Timeless iconic classic that seemingly everyone has enjoyed, over the years. Now, sadly, on the list for redevelopment into flats, I believe, this long serving bastion of the community is, outrageously, soon to be no longer with us. Who hasn’t parked up in Old Redding car park and had a drink in the beer garden on a hot summer’s day/eve? Whilst the views from the proposed flats will no doubt be spectacular, this fantastic piece of local history will be sorely missed.
Excellent and fast service. Great location and set up out back, lots of wide umbrellas for the great British summer. Only issue is there are no heaters. Nice green spot out back with kids play area, very family friendly. Food was incredibly tasty, and the chef kept coming out to check everything was alright, which was a really nice touch and made us feel super welcome. They even gave the dog some ice cream for free!
Love this pub, a beautiful big garden and one of the few traditional pubs left in Harrow. Had a meal here today, first time since the new chef started, and it was amazing. The roast potatoes were absolutely to die for. Very friendly and helpful staff too, we had a lovely relaxing Sunday lunch. We will definitely be back!
This is a lovely pub with great outdoor seating and a nice view. Adequately spaced tables and Covid measures in place. Little limited on vegetarian options however I chose the mushroom & asparagus pie which came with chips and green veg and it was delicious! Only marking this down a star for 2 reasons, the parking situation is not ideal, you have to park on quite a busy road directly outside, there is no car park and additionally it was a little back and forth with ordering the food. We were led to choose a table where there was a QR code for the menu, then we had to go back up to the pub to order and then head back down to eat, understandably these are the Covid measures but a little faff. Other than that lovely pub lunch.
This is the best food in the area, lovely friendly staff, beer gardens lovely, excellent service, you wont find a better pub around
Great pub with fab views. Very clean facilities. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Drinks ordered and served to the table.
Good to see an old favourite pub open again. The location is great offering great views and has a nice garden which is ideal for kids. Look forward to seeing it's menu once the kitchen opens.
