The rooms are reasonably priced and the hotel is well located. Interesting decor, enough space and big windows. The appears to be very well maintained and the service seems friendly. But the positives end here. My room was dirty. In fact, I don’t think it was cleaned after the last guest. Lots of fluff all over the carpet, hair in bath tub and in bed, and lots of dust everywhere. I cannot recommend, I do apologise.

Highly recommended. We went for the "small room" and there were no problems with Trades Description but it had everything necessary for a short stay and every item to a high standard - even wooden clothes hangers. Clean pleasant room, well equipped bathroom with good shower and fluffy towels, tea and coffee making facilities - what more could you want? Breakfast of course - and that was superb! Plus the staff were helpful and friendly and the car park just outside. We're already planning our return.

I have stayed here, eaten here and drunk here, all good, good value, rooms okay, Harvey's beer and nice food.

Reasonably priced drinks and a nice atmosphere. Had a group of guys come in an sing shanty songs together, made the night for me!
