Always a great meal, although I'd recommend going earlier in the evening to avoid any issues with food running low. Highly recommended for families and get-togethers. Delicious food, very reasonable pricing - and with the carvery, there's unlimited veg (includes chips, etc). Fantastic place.

All the bad reviews just get an answer to phone the manager and discuss it further. That seems to be the only answer to the problems. Nothing is getting done to improve the pub! The place is dirty everywhere. Windows, window sills, curtains, tables seats, carpets, glasses, knives and folks, dirty hard tiles, just very grubby and that's just front of house. Goodness knows what the kitchen is like, the pub needs a face lift and a dam good clean. I was in there 12 months ago and still the same. That's why it has dark lighting but in sunny weather it's horrible.

Food terrible. Dirty. No cutlery, no napkins, no bar staff. Understaffed. No white meats. Had to wait for vegetables. Chef searching for something in restaurant? Second time here, first wasn't great but was willing to give benefit of doubt. Will NEVER go back, ruined evening.

Went for surprise mother's day treat really enjoyed the food it was amazing!! Really friendly staff too!! Highly recommended

had a carvery with a mate food was really nice warm and fresh . and the meats were all cooked perfectly . and very polite staff and manager will defiantly be going again
