Very nice bar with attractive space over two levels. Staff were clearly engaged with locals, including their dogs! Good outdoor area too. Range of beers was decent; I personally love Lagunitas IPA, and at a lower price than beers served there with a lower ABV. Had to leave for dinner elsewhere, just before Saturday evening music started. I’m sure it would have been great. A minor criticism is that some staff were too engaged with, and distracted by, their friends & family in the venue, hence appeared to be serving us and others with little engagement. We still got served but, nevertheless, every customer wants to feel valued, rather than a distraction!
Not bad, toilets upstairs and have to walk through private party's so I wouldn't book a party here unless you want uninvited guests crashing through and you can't avoid that.
Love this place for quite contemplation. Comfy, cosy. Lovely staff. Usually a pot of tea and white chocolate and blueberry scone. Love to meet during the day and live music towards and during the weekend.
Such a lovely pub! Comfortable, great atmosphere and the staff are very welcoming. If I lived in the area this would most definitely become my regular!!
