A short notice visit and it was worth it. Very welcoming atmosphere and great food. Will definately be back. A great improvement with the new owners / managers.

Called in for Sunday lunch and was greeted by all the staff with a nice hello. Choice of meats or you could mix them, the food was excellent and the portion size more than ample. Shame there was no stuffing with the turkey dinner bit that is my only gripe. Restaurant area was very clean.

Nice people nice place but couldnt understand why on a saturday night why the bar and all else locked up and in darkness b4 ten oclock so couldnt have a beer 😐😐😐 so 2 star rating 🙄🙄

Landlady and staff seemed really friendly and lovely. The location is great for getting into Swansea in about 20 minutes and you look out over a small river with water bubbling over rocks in a very pleasant sounding way. It's a peaceful place with a nice large friendly pub downstairs. Its right in the town so you get an opportunity to look around. This is a new part of the world for me so good to see new things. The room i stayed in is a good size room and adjoining bathroom and a nice looking, big, modern appliance shower, (which I haven't checked yet.) X 'Room could do with a little work though. Finding lights that don't work, manganese leaking from ancient TV remote batteries onto the bedside cabinet and a lack of heating really put a downer on an otherwise great value for money place. Also not sure if it's a usual thing to have to make your own bed when you arrive. Quilt cover, pillow cases and mattress sheet left on dressing table. Not had to do it anywhere else before. After a 4.5 hour drive it was a little unexpected to find an unmade bed just waiting for waiting for us. I'm writing this to hopefully add some constructive advice for the owners. Aside from the specifics, I think this place is a great venue in a lovely location. I'm in bed, cold and tired. The bar was shut when i got back just before 11. My son decided to stay at his sister's who we are visiting because it was warmer. I wish the owners and staff all the best for the future. I didn't get a chance to tell the owners about all this really. The bar was dark when i got in tonight. If the heating had come on I would've just left it and headed home in the morning without the review. 😔
