It’s located on Sky Garden. Good restaurant in London. When you visited here you have to do the online or phone call reservation. I celebrated my this year birthday here with my partner. They treated and welcoming everyone with very respectful and friendly. In the night view was very wonderful when we eating. There was a really good variety of food. Good wine and cocktails selection. The services was quick and friendly.
So do book in advance, do not just turn up. Bookings can be done online. Entry to the building is airport style security and bags will be screened. Once up the top you can enter the sky garden, walk up the side steps to the next floor which is the restaurant. It too has views but if you don't get a window table you won't see much. The restaurant felt very cramped and noisy. Too many tables packed in. Service was very fast like they were trying to rush us through. You have to order your dessert at the start too. On leaving checking out the upper restaurant fenchurch it looked much more relaxed and spacious. Food was nice. Service charge automatically added. Good for a visit but I wouldn't go again as it was too cramped. Allow 15 minutes to get through security before your booking.
A really friendly and welcoming brasserie which overlooks the Sky Garden and has amazing views across London. There was a really good variety of food with a choice for vegetarians and vegans. Good wine selection with a few available by the glass, or 1/2 bottle. Service was fast and friendly and the waiter knew the menu well. Would definitely go back.
A beautiful place for breakfast! The views are fantastic and so is the food. I had pancakes, berries and Chantilly cream which were delicious. My cappuccino was also tasty and well presented. It was reasonably priced for breakfast. As a bonus, you can take a walk around the sky garden and take in the views before and after your meal. We arrived at opening time which was fairly quiet. I would recommend booking well in advance and avoiding peak times as it does get busy.
Worth the advanced and timed booking. The view was amazing. The Food was really good and the service Gary or Gery, can't quite remember was the best we had in our 10 day trip in England. We booked 2 months in advance and got the date and time we wanted. If you're drinking it's probably closer to $30-40 a person, great for a birthday or nice outing. We'd go back for sure.
Fantastic choice of restaurant, situated inside the Sky Garden, the views are spectacular and surrounded by a beautiful garden. Breakfast menu simple and not over complicated. Helpful and informative staff. Food and drinks were delicious and generous portions, and very reasonably priced especially due to the location. Booking essential, but you can wander round the gardens at leisure after your meal. Highly recommend.
Great restaurant with a good atmosphere. The food tasted good and was reasonably priced. The staff accommodated us with a table that had a great view of London. And our waiter was professional and communicated well with us. I would definitely recommend making a reservation in advance if you are going for dinner.
Wow, what can I say. Came here for a birthday meal and was suitably impressed from start to finish. I found it amusing that I had visited here in the video-game Watch Dogs Legion and recognized everything from that it was my first time here in the flesh. Great ambience here with the plants, airy room, large staircase and with those large distinctive glass windows a prominent feature. DJ playing nice beats downstairs, with the Darwin restaurant itself trendy and buzzing with guests. Not the place to sit for a quiet meal though as it's very busy as you would expect. The food and staff were fantastic especially my desert and my family and I had a great experience here. The views from the walkie talkie building are amazing, especially at night. I would certainly come here again and highly recommend it.
My partner & myself recently visited for our 1 year anniversary as a surprise meal from himself to me. We both had a wonderful time, the food was very tasty, with good portions and we felt full afterwards, which you don't always at expensive restaurants. The wait staff were very attentive and the atmosphere was lovely. We were surrounded by plants complemented by lots of natural light and nice decor.
The Darwin restaurant has a nice atmosphere and stunning views. 4 of us visited 2 adults and 2 children, We found the menu to be quite limited and nothing special and the vegetarian options were very limited. Our food came within half hour and was nice but not for the price we paid £121+ and wish we had eaten in the Hotel we were staying at instead!
