A very beautiful venue filled with greenery, shrubs and even a tree in the middle! We came for drinks so didn’t manage to try the food menu. The place is cosy and buzzing and great for after work drinks or catching up with friends. Keep in mind that it gets loud and hearing people from across the table is not easy. Service is friendly but not always attentive but that could be due to the busy night.
Had a wonderful meal last night. The food was excellent the atmosphere was lovely. The service by the staff was outstanding. Would highly recommend this place for anyone. Will definitely be coming back again.
I met my daughter there for lunch, lovely relaxed atmosphere. Staff we charming. we were mainly served by a lovely blond lady, sorry I forgot to ask her name. She was charming, there enough but not too much. Food was better than I was expecting, I had the venison and she had the duck. Sticky toffee pudding sponge wasnt too strong so you could decide on taste by the sauce. Will definitely be back. Lovely lunch
Lovely experience. I was there exactly 1mim before they were going to close the kitchen and they accepted to take our order. Food was great and the service very friendly. Can't wait to go again!!!
Yet to eat here but probably one of the most beautiful pubs I've ever seen in my life. Great beer selection and beautiful interior. Will be back to feast.
The food quality was just amazing but the plates were seriously small. We paid 19£ for gnocchi and the plate had 5 gnocchi and some salad. I ordered two snacks as starters and the mains and we had to come home and eat again. The staff was incredibly nice and welcoming
Not super impressed. Has the making of a lovely establishment. We had oysters, steak, and Irish coffee. Each course was cold as the next. The steak was good quality, as was all the food, just the attentiveness was lacking. The decor was very nice and had a nice overall atmosphere.
Great local joint. Lunch or dinner. Just tried the pork belly this week. Delicious!
Such an amazing Sunday roast, in such a pretty pub. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully cooked. Somehow we made room for desserts, which were yum. We arrived quite late due to an error on our part and by some magic Marcia managed to sort us a table within 20 minutes. We were so grateful. The service throughout by Marcia was just excellent - thank you! We will be returning.
We came down for the pop up bbq by BusStop BBQ. Their menu is simple, a chicken, pork & beef burger and pork croquettes. We ordered the chicken & beef option and some croquettes. By far the croquettes were the best option, great flavour and texture. Well accompanied with the spicy Mayo. The chicken burger was the better of the 2, more satisfying. It is more filling, better texture and all round stronger taste. The beef one just lacked on all these fronts and left me wanting more. We never got to enter the pub as it was during the lockdown period but it looks great and the team were great. Their setup for serving and being able to take items over to the park was perfect.
