Good place to eat. Upscale compared to other places. Dishes are quite large, so if not ravenous, you can share. Note the service is not included into the price. Expect around 20 pounds per person. Thumbs up for the music collection.
Always good to grab a but to eat before a flight, in this case a long haul flight to Thailand. Service was good and speedy especially in an airport. Reasonable prices too. Chips were very crunchy which was good.
Loved the relaxed pub atmosphere with soft comfy chairs. I had perfectly cooked eggs Benedict which tasted as good as it looked plus a coffee. Would definitely come back here when I'm at Heathrow Airport.
The food was excellent, loads of different options for food and drink. Well priced for good quality food in the airport Atmosphere is very relaxing and comfortable. The area is very very clean for the airport The staff are extremely kind and helpful they made the experience much nicer.
TLDR : Horrific food The Red Pepper Hummus was possibly a health code violation. The Cauliflower bites with mango were acceptable. The mango bits didn't seem to add much flavour or presentation. I did also have some English tea which was fine and a Guinness which was standard. Those can't really be messed up. The service was quick and the staff was pleasant. That is the only reason for such a high score of two stars. I did bring the issue to the attention of the staff. She was mildly apologetic. I did assure her that it wasn't her fault. That was the end of the interaction. I just wanted to get out. The hummus had a puddle of liquid in it that was either oil or water. Once I spotted it, I felt sick and could not touch any more of it. See the photo . The Pita with it was okay. As a business, I suspect the only positive thing is the location. I could never eat here again. Do yourself a favour and go anywhere else.
Good vegan breakfast although the scrambled tofu was not great as didn’t really taste of anything. If you remove anything in the app when ordering you have alternatives increased which is great so still getting value though overly priced compared to high street. A wide selection of bottled and draught drinks as expected. Service was great and quick, as you would expect when there may not be much time before your boarding time. Recommend pub, though I would prefer a Weatherspoons.
The English breakfast is delicious. The waffle is standard and pretty expensive. We had to wait for quite a while to get the food. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere.
I was charged £23.65 €27.99 for a pint and the most average burger and chips you’ll find. Triple cooked chips they said on the menu that I could say almost certainly came out of a freezer and the portion was small. It’s incredible they can get away with this kinda rip off. Go to a Burger King instead —- In response to the owners’ reply, I was not given Pierre koffmann chips. A quick scan of the photos left by other reviewers shows that the ones I was given were different to the ones other people received. It’s substandard and overly expensive food
Good beer and the soup of the day was really good. But the fried shrimps was amazing. Nice atmosphere but the staff seems to be very stressed.
For an airport pub/restaurant it does the job staff are nice and helpful food and drinks came fast and tasted good had a flat white coffee and feel like the cups/mug could have been bigger probably double the size would be better overall a good spot to have a couple beers and a decent pub feed
