Great pub, went the other week for a birthday party and will be back for sure. The garden is huge with chickens, rabbits and activities so great if you have kids. Very friendly and welcoming.
Never been before my husband took me in Saturday has he used to every Sunday with his friends for a pint or2 it was so friendly and welcoming felt right at home, definitely will go again

Lovely public house with a great beer garden and an outside function room. Smallish car park with room for maybe 12 cars. Been living in the local neighbourhood for almost 13 years and never knew this existed. Well done for turning a small local pub into a great venue for small parties. Will be visiting again.
Good pint of Smith's , good atmosphere . Buzzing. Great Bar staff especially Dawn whom has a great Smile .
Fantastic beer garden. Mick and Pat make you very welcome. They are now building trade up again after the Covid lockdown. The previous owners threatened to sell the garden to build flats. Fortunately, the pub has been listed as an ACV Asset of Community Value and for the next 5 years it can only be sold for continued use as a pub. Nice one!
We booked the Daisyfield for a Confirmation party. They offered a cold buffet and a choice of hot pies. We choose a mixture of both and were very impressed with the high quality, portion sizes and value for money. The children had an absolute ball playing in garden to the rear. There were chickens and rabbits for them to see plus some play equipment. As it was Easter Sunday there was also a DJ and Easter egg hunt. All in all we were made to feel very welcome and great atmosphere. Good time was had by all. Thank you.
Lovely landlady, great atmosphere and the prices you can't complain
Family pub don't expect quiet pint at weekend during day, it's got good beer and is kept well ,shows sports and has large beer garden/play area
