Despite driving by here at least five per week, it's been some time since I stepped foot inside. As the sun was out, thought it might be worth the ten minute or so walk to see the changes since my last visit. Not sure exactly how long it's been, but the area towards the back where we used to eat has clearly undergone a transformation for the better. The rest simply looks cleaner and more modern. Ordered a coffee and was asked where I'd be sitting as it would be brought over. Service excellent, which was more than could be said for the nicely presented cup of coffee. I'll stick to the beers next time;-)

Friendly fast service. Food well presented. Salads delicious. Cosy traditional atmosphere. Enjoyable do ing experience all round.

The atmosphere in this pub is warm and cosy. The same can be said about the staff, they're welcoming and very helpful. I would recommend this place for a drink or two after work in the perfect winding down environment.

Great pub with a great atmosphere and really friendly staff fab new food on spring menu enjoyed the Salmon ❤️
