We visited The Four Oaks for Sunday Lunch. It was perfect in every way. We were greeted at the entrance by a polite member of staff who immediately took us to our table, as we had a reservation. The restaurant was warm and comfortable, and the level of cleanliness was commendable. Once our order was taken, the food arrived quickly. The presentation of the food was excellent, and the quality of the meat and the vegetables was superb. Table service was great and we were attended to professionally. We will definitely visit again.nHighly recommended.
We went for breakfast for the first time since the renovations and we were blown away by how amazing the place is inside. It’s got a really nice vibe with a very luxurious design. It’s comfy, cosy, but modern at the same time - just a fab place to be!nnThe staff were beyond great, very chatty, charming and smiley. The dealt with our request with absolute pleasure and made the whole experience a delight. Service was quick and efficient and really attentive.nnMy only downside to the place is the food. The prices are high, which are reflected in the place itself and the staff, but unfortunately not the food. I can only comment on the breakfast, and lunch / dinner may be different! The drinks were great, but the food lacked flavour and seasoning, and didn’t live up to the expectations. We had an array of meals between the 7 of us, all nice, but for the price, something a little more was expected.nnAll in all this place was a joy to eat at and experience, but we expected a little more from the food. The staff are great though, and the vibe is lovely.
Me, my partner and our couple friends enjoyed a fine evening of delicious food, great drinks and quality service. Our waitress was Gorge and she was superb, very polite and helpful always floating around ensuring our needs were catered to she is a superstar. The food was delicious especially the Camembert to share is was a generous portion. Overall we all enjoyed our time here it's a great establishment, has modern and cosy vibes would recommend here for couples night or evening drinks.
I'd not been here for a number of years, as I felt the food quality was quite poor and service. However, after visiting today, I was pleasantly surprised with the food, service, and environment. I really enjoyed the steak sandwich and chunky chips on the lunch menu. I recommend giving it a try.
We love it here, food is amazing and I just love the atmosphere and decor. Also might add the complementary bread and ginger butter is a delicious touch although a little disappointed the last time we visited as we only got one tiny slice of bread each
