Stopped by there yesterday and was 'blanked' at the counter whilst the staff were discussing their hair. Blanked again when someone behind me at the counter window was dealt with. Waited to be 'served', thanked them when they condescended to acknowledge my presence, and went to a proper café. UPDATE: Your assumption is incorrect. The fact that a 'non-paying customer' was declined was just another fine example of YOUR shoddy 'customer service'. It was also evident in your failure to supply another customer with their requested order resulting in a refund to that customer. Subsequently, and rather tellingly within my earshot, the staff proceeded to criticise and demean that customer. Absolutely unnecessary.

Love this place for breakfast, food is good and staff are friendly. Great place to grab some refreshments before or after a cycle/walk/run down by the river. Indoor and outdoor seating so good place to go in all weather. Plenty of parking nearby.

Meet my friends here every Monday and Wednesday for lunch. The food is freshly cooked and staff are excellent. Thoroughly recommend.

Possibly the meanest withholders of milk since the days of Margeret Thatcher. Lost out on a regular customer, not that it probably bothers them as they no doubt prefer to keep riff raff like myself far away from their pretentious portacabin.

Excellent food, perfectly cooked in pleasant surroundings This is my favourite place to breakfast particularly on a sunny early morning. There is a covered area for windy or damp days and the cafe is open all year round.
