Superb Food & Service.nnA last-minute table reservation, they fitted us in for Sunday lunch.nnAmy & Scarlet made us feel welcome despite being the last people for lunch.nnExcellent fish & chips and the best nut roast I ever tasted!nnDespite the Crown being on our doorstep, this is the first visit, but we will return SOON.nnThank you so much.
The 2 of us popped in for lunch after not having been in for a few years and it was incredible. Great to see how much it has improved after being recommended by a friend again. It was mid week and fairly busy which is always a good sign out of season! We were greeted with a smile and sat down promptly. We were impressed with the menu that offered a brilliant range for everyone and I myself had the duck wrap with salad and chips was perfect for lunch. Overall a great experience and will definitely be back when in Woodbridge. Staff, food and service was all great. Cheers guys. See you soon for an evening meal!
I’ve visited a number of times for food, not stayed over.nnI’ll base this review on my most recent visit which was on a Sunday afternoon in October. We were out in Woodbridge and looked at the menu outside. We didn’t realise that Sundays was a set menu only pictured luckily we were happy to order from this menu.nnThe three of us went for Smoked Salmon & Crayfish Cocktail and Roast Beef picturednnI really enjoyed my starter the salmon was absolutely delicious! The bread and butter was tasty too, decent butter was used.nnAbsolutely loved my roast beef! The beef wasn’t too chewy and everything on the plate was very flavoursome.nnTwo courses for £26. Or three courses for £31.nnI’d definitely visit again, although I think it should be made clearer before your seated, that its a set menu only on a Sunday : See you again :
This hotel is situated in the centre of Woodbridge. It offers excellent accommodation at a fair price. The rooms are beautifully decorated and have everything you need for a CV comfortable relaxing stay.nLittle extras make it special.nThe breakfast was amazing!! locally sourced ingredients are well cooked and presented. Sets you up for the day.nStaff are kind, courteous and professional.nWe can’t wait to return.
Took the hubby here for a last minute getaway, what can I say….. from start to finish it was a relaxing the atmosphere was amazing, staff were polite and attentive, and we had a truly fantastic time. Food and drinks were top class. We will definitely be back.
