I ordered a parcel to the Hasketon Road branch and it hadn't arrived even with a confirmation email to say it had. They took my number and in all honesty I didn't expect a call back, but they did call back saying they'd received it, they were so understanding and polite and a real credit to this business. I can't remember the manager on shift, but him and two ladies were so helpful and made the process swift and easy.

Rarely do I not find what I'm after and I am often surprised by the range of things they manage to pack into such a small place. Very convenient opening hours, never crazy busy or a long wait at the till. And last but not least, friendly and helpful staff. A gem of a local shop.
One of the most helpful and cheerful stores I've had the pleasure of experiencing. I couldn't find a product. 1 Assistant thoroughly searched the shelves; 2 at his instigation, went to the office to see if it was a product they normally stocked; it wasn't; 3 informed me and then offered to ring the Barracks Road branch - which they did and the co-op there had it in stock. What more could you ask for.
Just round the corner from us with a reasonable range of products if not all the variations, friendly service, ok prices... some real bargains. Great place to try if the bigger boys have let you down for some essentials... like eggs in our case, but also good for a full shop if you don't want to go to the out of town places.
