Cooked the fish and chips in 1 minute, it was uncooked only breading batter was cooked not the fish made me sick. Was going to give them 0* but there is no option for that.
Food arrived over an hour late, communication with restaurant was terrible. Had to call after getting no response back on the app twice to which they then said they had attempted to call which never happened. Due to the lateness just eat offered money off the order which criterion refused and wanted full payment. Food was soggy as if it had been sitting out for a while and the suppers contained a very small portion of chips each. Won't be ordering from here again.
Food is usually always great thats why i go back but their delivery is an absolute joke my partner usually collects i dont drive we are literally 5 mins drive from the shop and it takes over an hour for a fish supper to be delivered its crazy and extremely annoying especially when you ask how long deliveries are taking to be told 40 mins max
Chips adequate, fritters superb, king rib average, sausage good, pizza crunch good, fish average. Overall a decent chippy worth a repeat visit or two. Parking: Being on Paisley Road West it's a bit of a problem parking.

Been to Criterion for at least 100 times now. Today I forgot to carry my wallet and just wanted to check with the staff if there's any other way to pay. The lady on the counter was extremely rude and just walked away. That's me done
Last night i phoned the Criterion at 9.30 for a delivery of a Haggis Supper for my partner & a pizza supper it was eventially delivered after 11oclock i called twice to be told its on its way my partner loves haggis he ate a couple of bits & he was unwell sick & the other!! never had any time off in years but he was bad enough to call in sick.
Absolutely appalled with the customer service here tonight. I have used the shop many of times and never had an issue. Placed an order and received it cold at the door. The bag was stone cold not a heat coming off it what so ever!! Asked the delivery driver to take it back as I’m not happy waiting max waiting time for cold food. Call up the shop to try resolve the issue and attitude was absolutely appalling. I hope calls are recorded so a manager can listen back to the service i’ve just received from them being at fault. Yvonne spoke over myself and my mum completely dismissing that an error has happened somewhere and was taking no blame on us having cold food but given a backhanded apology. She then tried to patronise us telling us our food wasn’t cold and then said the reason our food was cold was because I requested lots of salt and vinegar. Lots of vinegar apparently makes your food stone cold even though she told us that our food wasn’t cold? Make up your mind! Yvonne response to her customer service is she has an hnd in it which clearly must be outdated as it wasn’t shown tonight. The attitude was stinking and Yvonne should not be dealing with customers face to face or over the phone if this is how she addresses problems - which I’m sure happen often as mistake are made in businesses. We were told our food would be made AGAIN as if it’s some form of bother to them and that we would have to wait full delivery time again. Now I understand we have to wait on food being cooked again but to be told we have to wait a full delivery time again as if we have just placed the order there is a joke. Expressed this to Yvonne as we have already waited an hour and half and she expressed there is other customers infront. Takes an alien to work out you guys have other customers but if a mistake has happened any normal business with good customer service would try resolve the issue’s quickly as possible and express a sincere apology. If our food was fine like it always has been there would have been no reason for us to call. Unfortunately due to Yvonne, myself and family will no longer be ordering or popping in here for lunches.
Love this chip shop and the staff very friendly,premises spotless. Parking: This shop is on the main road which makes for easy parking Wheelchair accessibility: There is a very small step but I have seen staff leave the counter to attend the wheelchair user. Dietary restrictions: Lol what diet
Not happy I ordered 2 king ribs on Saturday night. However they were tastless. Any other time I have got these they have been so nice. Have you changed your suppliers ????
