Lunch deal is tasty and good value, staff were very accomodating that we needed a downstairs seat and half the party were about half an hour late!! Is a lovely looking place too .
Went for lunch fish tea, amazing service from really friendly staff, great quality food, had no bad word to say about it! Chips were soft and the batter was crispy. Very pleased, hopefully going back again :

Had lunch with family here yesterday, everything we had was amazing!! Couldn’t fault anything, & I’m really fussy!! Staff & service was great, fast & attentive. Excellent value for money too. Definately be back, can’t wait.
Haddock supper is excellent with a succulent fleshy piece of tasty fish in a light and crispy batter and a generous helping of well made chips. Pizza crunch is really good too.
When I passed by on evening of 11th Feb 2021 there were 6 staff members in a small kitchen cooking and/or serving customers, none of whom were wearing masks. Not following basic health and safety precautions to keep their customers well is a major red flag for me.
Waited outside due to covid regulations, about 10 mins after ordering Haggi supper, got said food , batter on haggis was like rubber ,chewy , not that warm , I'm thinking this isn't fresh , chips getting smaller, all in all think its losing what it all started with. .
Absolutely AMAZING food really well managed kitchen so much communication and the food was just out of this world and I'm not a chip shop kinda guy but I was hungry so popped in SO HAPPY I DID!
Best locally by far. Freshly cooked and not greasy. Could have done without the staff member in the corner arguing trying to get beerwith server but she dealt with him well more of a 4.5 than a 5!
