We had such a great Christmas Lunch. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. Staff were friend and attentive and the atmosphere was very festive. Thank you for a a brilliant experience.
Nipped in for a quick lunch - thats a mistake we wont be repeating! My Lasagne was burnt to a crisp and my side order of skin on fries never appeared. When we mentioned to the waitress that the side order hadnt appeared she barked at me did I want them now or a tefund when we finished. I told her we were finished - she rolled her eyes and very rudely repeated overly slowly did we want a refund at the bar. I told her leave it its fine at which point she threw a strop any 2 year old would have been proud of and flounced off. On the way out I pointed out to her that I wasnt making a fuss just pointing out a mistake had been made at that she pulled a face and in front of her boss said sye whatever see you next time! There will not be a next time and what a weak ineffective manager. She also managed to scfew up the orders of at least two other tables good luck to them! Seriously though Id avoid this place its pretty awful.
Visit the Craigmarloch often, can’t recommend it enough. Good atmosphere, great laugh with the staff members. Food is exceptional! Everything is always cooked to perfection!nJust a great wee pub all in!
Trying to put a reasonable perspective on this. I have visited many times for drinks and the quiz. Decided to have dinner and was extremely disappointed. Order was taken down wrong and therefore wrong main served. One order was forgotten about, however the quality of the food was no better than 3/10 presentation poor and sauce served in a bowl, quality decidedly average. Another point is when you order drinks for example a Stella and it comes in a Carling glass. Ordered 4 over the night each in a different glass none of them in the Chalice!!! not great.nWould I go back to the pub? Definitely. As for food I appreciate its ‘Pub Grub’ but spending over £50 on mains you expect better and will give it a miss in the future.
Really friendly people! Food was reasonably priced and the music was . Decent veggie options too.
