Carvery is good never had any issues here since it changed hands. New owners have made it better than it previously was last year. Staff have always been pleasant and helpful. Good place to take the family and relaxing atmosphere. Only reason I never gave 5 stars is because you need to be absolutely awesome to get that from me.

Broadwood Farm is a typically family friendly, low budget, value for money pub / restaurant. The carvery is excellent in that you can have a slice of all 3 meats on offer and return later to refill your plate with more vegetables should you so wish. The desserts are large enough to satisfy the sweetest tooth and apart from the carvery all else is served to your table by lovely friendly staff

I had a Stetson burger which is supposed to come with crispy bacon and onion rings, picture of it looked great in the menu. What I got was what tasted like frozen burgers from a box (in a carvery I expected much better), 1 slice of bacon under mented cheese and therefore in no way crispy and no onion rings. It was completely uninspiring and not at all worth the £9.99 price tag. My partner had a southern fried chicken wrap. It's decribed as served hot- this should be amended to slightly warm. The menu says it has chicken breast fillets however it was pretty difficult to find the chicken. It had 2/3 small peices of chicken and many just lettuce in a wrap. Won't be back and wouldn't recommend to anyone.

When we first walked in we had to walk about to find a table and within sitting down a coach off football supporters came wearing their colours Montrose I believe and they stood 2 to 3 deep at the bar which made us feel intimidated. Food wasn't that great my husbands pizza looked it had not been cooked it was supposed to have been a meat feast I think the meat got up and left. Had to wait at the carvery for 10 minutes. I thought this would be better than it was before it got a revamped but sorry will not be back.
