I had a lovely family meal here today, with 5 people.nnThe atmosphere was lovely, well decorated and feels very intimate. Even with the lights, there were windows that were letting in some gorgeous sunshine from outside.nnThe service was great, but unfortunately there were only 2 members of staff for a full restaurant! There definitely needs to be more because it did take things like paying and ordering a bit longer than ideal. However, the staff were still great, checking on us and if we needed any drinks through the meal. The staff also were lovely and accommodating for my father, letting us have a take out box because he couldn't finish his meal.nnThe food was great value for money and was delicious. The portions were very generous and the quality was lovely. My only suggestion would be to have some more veg on the chicken and pork dish, but overall, absolutely delicious and will be back!
Came here last week for dinner, amazing food and service. I had the Thai green curry and my partner had the Steak Dianne. Food was delicious as always and huge portions!! Service was quick and the staff were lovely and very accommodating. Bora went above and beyond for us and we had a great evening!
The service was offered with no smiling faces, felt unwelcome, were offered seats and orders taken with no enthusiasm and infact we all just made to feel we were a hinderence. The food was pricey, so cooked from fresh was expected. The chicken with pasta was clearly processed, and didn't even look like real chicken, clearly all microwaved, and totally inedible. All 4 meals put in front of us were extremely poor for what was charged, along with the service, and will not ever go again.
Came to the crab and anchor whilst staying in Farnborough. The staff were really welcoming and sat us in a lovely cozy corner. Staff were really friendly and food came out very promptly. We ordered a fish and chips and sirloin stake. Both were brilliant and my brother said it was the best steak he ever had.nnWould highly recommend.
The staff are very friendly and the food is tasty.nnI had the Ceasar Salad. It was lovely, well presented and was a generous portion . Plenty of all of the ingredients .nHubby and daughter had the lamb shank which they said was gorgeous. My son in law had the roast chicken. It looked lovely. The roast potatoes looked nice and crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Some of the family had the crumble and again, looked lovely. The custard was plentiful.
