I ate there twice. Once in the front and another time in the back with a party. Front had a good atmosphere with friendly service and they kept my cup full. Food was good enough that there weren’t any leftovers in our group. The back room has a great story and plenty of space. Bar keep was polite and accommodating. Manger and staff were great for working with us and I highly recommend big parties.

What a turnaround for this venue from a few years ago. Bigger, more ambience, great service, good food. As a customer service trainer for a large blue chip company, I can tell the staff have been selected and trained to a high standard, which is wonderful to experience in a what is essentially a pub. Go visit!

Great pub. Lovely atmosphere! Brilliant food. Went on a really busy mother's day, service was excellent.

Went there for lunch today (6th March) much more spacious and brighter since the new extension. Food was very good and varied selection. Thanks Jake for being a very friendly and attentive waiter.

Friendly staff, decent food, great atmosphere. Our food took ages to come out but they made up for it very kindly. Everyone else had their meals served at an acceptable time though. Ours was one of those random experiences that occasionally happens. It's a great place!
