What a find! A barn full of genuine antiques and collectables seemingly in the middle of nowhere although there is good parking. Come for a rummage but don't expect to go home empty handed.
Hellish to get too from a sat nav direction and really all about furniture. Prices really high. Wont go again when visiting the island.
What a wonderful piece of furniture. It was delivered quickly to us north of Manchester at a reasonable cost. Communications with Rich were excellent. I am very impressed with the efficiency and professionalism of his business. Highly recommended.
Loved browsing around this place. It is full of a fascinating collection of beautiful furniture and quirky items, as well as some really attractive new handmade pieces. The location is idyllic as you walk around a maze of old barns full of hidden gems surrounded by stunning countryside. Well worth a visit!
The Cowshed is a treasure trove of good quality, eclectic, furniture, for all size spaces and budgets! I bought a Victorian pine chest of drawers, a wooden chest which makes a good coffee table, and a kitchen table and chairs. These were all delivered to me in London at minimal cost and hassle free. My parents got some lovely bedside tables. I have to say that the furniture is an absolute bargain for the quality; much cheaper than the high street, but it looks much more authentic! The service I received was really helpful and friendly. I have to say that the previous review bears no resemblance to my experience of the business – there is not a flat pack in sight!! I would thoroughly recommend the Cowshed to anyone and have done so!.
Excellent product. Dining table. Reasonable price. Had it delivered the same day Great service very friendly and an amazing shop to look around. They have so many things.
Full of overpriced clichéd stock, worn out, badly repaired and completely knackered junk. Selling mainly to the chinless out of town set, who with more money than sense, are able to pay the simply incredulous prices being ask for this tat. A nice day out if you fancy a snigger at his bare faced cheek, asking prices.
I have bought several things from them and have always been very happy with the service and quality of the items, i have even had some items bespoke from them as I was limited on size etc, the quality of finish is just beautiful, well done The cow Shed
Didn't know it was there but a good place to visit
Largest selection of Antiques on the Isle of Wight? No, a lot of flat packed wardrobes looking traditional the proverbial pine ware if you like that sort of thing. Not a lot of items that could even be classed as over 100 years old let alone antique in nature. So misleading motto on thier website and in thier kind of shop, more of a retro feel and a few business bits to inspire an office or two. Sadly though falls below the standard that it claims to be and much work still needs to be done to claim they are the largest selection of antiques, more of a small collection of lumpy bits of wood, wool and metal.
