We’ve had a lovely stay at The Cors. We received a thoughtful welcome basket with sweet treats, milk and bread, which was a lovely touch.nnThe house is spacious, full of character and set in beautiful, peaceful surroundings. The huge garden was a real highlight, with lots of privacy, lovely seating, a BBQ and a swing. The bedrooms are spacious and most bedrooms had an en-suite. The kitchen is very well equipped, with plenty of fridge and freezer space, which was ideal for our large group. We also loved the cinema room and pool table.nnThe location is quite remote, but this was perfect for the peaceful setting, although you do need to drive to most places. It’s a perfect location for walking to Laugharne Castle and Dylan Thomas Boathouse.nnThe house was generally well kept, although there were some dusty corners and cobwebs that could have had a little more attention. We also weren’t aware beforehand that one of the bathrooms doesn’t have a door.
We had a wonderful stay in the Cors country house.nBedrooms are clean and the kitchen fully equipped.nWe watched the football world cup in the cinema room what a atmosphere.nEnjoyed the unique seating areas in the garden, the weather at that time was really sunny.nThe service and the handbook app was so useful.nWe had the best time
The Cors- a perfect place for our family get together! We had a wonderful week, grounds are stunning and the house is full of character and charm. Jac was great when I accidentally locked us out of the house and sorted us out very quickly! Laugharne is a beautiful place with great places to eat and drink with stunning views across the estuary.
We’ve just checked out from our week at The Cors, and what a week it was! Myself and my family, 9 of us in total plus a dog, found it the perfect place to celebrate a few big birthdays together. A great location for relaxing, as well as some lovely walks and exploring the beautiful Welsh coast and countryside.nnJac was great communicating beforehand and during, and it was great to have the helpful digital guide as well. Some of the extra touches like the dog bed, leads and bowl were much appreciated, Fen loved playing with the balls!nnThe house and grounds are absolutely stunning, we all especially loved the bar room with the pool table. We also opted to hire the hot tub which combined with everything the house already has to offer and some great weather, made for the perfect stay in Laugharne.nnThank you for one of the best family holidays we’ve ever had, we’re sure to be back!
We had a great long weekend at The Cors Country House. The owner, Jac’s communication was great from the start and he helped us out when we had a minor issue even though he was away for the weekend himself. The house is spacious, comfortable and quirky and the gardens are beautiful. The area is lovely with lots of great beaches nearby. The village has good food options and Jac’s guidebook was very helpful when choosing places to visit and where to eat. The bar and pool room is great fun and the cinema room is comfortable and well equipped. Overall we had a lovely stay and look forward to our next visit.
