A short walk away from the Dylan Thomas Boathouse, set in the beautiful and unique town of Laugharne is the perfectly sublime Cors Country House. Even before entering The Cors, the weight from a busy week at work was lifted from my shoulders as I meandered through the luscious and tranquil gardens. At this stage I worry that my vocabulary range doesn't include enough superlatives to justify the amount of praise The Cors deserves. Upon arrival I was warmly greeted by Nick, who later I discovered is the chef, cleaner gardener and owner of The Cors. Nick provided a first class and attentive service for the duration of my stay, he made me feel valued and right at home. I stayed in The Blue Room, and after closing the bedroom door I took my shoes off, laid on the bed and I could've stayed there for hours. Relaxation and tranquility has just been taken to another level. This really was a holiday inside a holiday. After a complete recharge off my batteries, regrettably, my weekend was over and I had to head back to reality. I will be returning and the sooner the better. A big thank you to Nick as the sheer quality of The Cors Country House is truly testament to your dedication in striving for excellence. See you soon.

Lovely weekend break at the Cors Inn. The owner was friendly and inviting, and the bar/restaurant area had a very homely feel. Will definitely look to stay again. Thanks!
