Just returned from a fab night celebrating my birthday with my three wonderful daughters. Object of the visit was to do the Dylan Thomas birthday walk to celebrate my big day. Our visit was made doubly enjoyable by our stay in the Boat House. Rooms were delightful and our hosts made us feel immediately at home supplying us with a variety of teas, coffee and home made biscuits in said rooms. The breakfast was legendary. All ingredients were locally sussed and even the yogurt and hashbrowns were home made. Can't recommend too highly.

A spectacular place to spend the night! Beautiful views, a warm welcome, the loveliest people and the most delicious home cooked food. What more can I say? The perfect city escape.

Not impressed - enquired one evening about room availability was quoted something like £85 £95 for single room. Place certainly didn't look busy you could have cut the atmosphere with a knife when I walked out after telling the po faced owner I would be staying at the Brown's for approx £65. The owners definitely aren't Laugharnies

Jane and Keith are fabulous hosts-they cannot do enough for their guests. The rooms are spacious with all the facilities you would want. The breakfast is sourced from local producers, home cooked and delicious. I hope to visit again soon.

Fabulous stay! Keith and Jane are great, very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Nice ammount of complimentary tea,coffee and bottled water (decent brands with fresh milk not uhd). After washing my hair at night I realised I'd forgotten my hairbrush, they supplied with me with one!! Beautiful room, spacious and comfortable. Fabulous breakfast, homemade yoghurt with fresh fruit salad then cooked local produce breakfast cooked to perfection absolutely spot on!! Nothing is to much trouble for Keith and Jane will definitely be returning! !! Thank you both. Gail and Marcus
