Stayed here for a night as a solo traveller. Honestly brilliant from start to finish. My pup got a warm welcome and sausage, the breakfast menu was excellent soufflé with cockles anyone? and the room was comfy and quiet. Lovely, historical, boutique inn. There's parking and it's in the middle of town.nnAlready recommended it to friends and hope to stay again soon!
We had one night at this lovely hotel.nThe room was clean and spacious.nThe bar areas were good and relaxing.nThe breakfast was very good, with wonderful and friendly staff.nMy only slight disappointment was that there was not much choice for vegetarians in the restaurant.
Great roast dinner within a smart yet relaxed atmosphere. Good food cooked very nicely and will be sure to return, good drinks selection too. Highly recommend the mushroom starter to set you up for the mains event.
Stayed for 2 nights with work. I stayed in a double room with a shower. Smallish room but everything needed and very comfy bed. Only annoying thing was the shampoo and conditioner was low so mid hair wash it ran out. All staff so polite. Breakfast was one of the best I have had. Especially the eggs Benedict, it was perfect! Would 100% stay again for pleasure!
Group of us stayed there for one night.nRooms were very good and comfortable.nWe had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent. Great steaks.nBreakfast next morning was very good also.nPlenty parking for our motorbikes.nWill be back.
