I appreciate that delivery times are never guaranteed and accept there are road issues which hold deliveries up. I chose the 17:45 - 18:00 slot I was offered when I placed my order. At 17:21 I received an email to say delivery would be made at 18:30. At 18:50 I phoned to see if they could give me an idea of when it might arrive (more to check they'd not forgotten me) spent 5 minutes on the phone listening to the girl talk to some guy in the background, was asked my postcode 4 times, then my address, when I was then told it was on it's way. 20 minutes later (I'm less than a 10 minute drive away - in heavy traffic) I phoned to tell them to cancel the order. As I was on the phone the delivery turned up. I never got chance to tell Coriander it had arrived as the girl I had been speaking to hung up on me. Very shoddy customer service. In his defence the driver was very sweet and friendly; the food, however, was stone cold. Had they said when I phoned the first time they were running behind and would get to me as soon as they could I would have been more than happy with that. The lack of service though was just atrocious, the food being stone cold was unacceptable. I certainly won't use again.

I received a text saying my food was going to be half hour later than expected which did not bother me too much as I thought if they were busy the food must be good, half hour went by and i rang them to see where by food was, they said it had just left and around 40 minutes later it was delivered. Once the food was delivered and the driver had left i noticed one of the curry containers were smashed and curry all over the bottom of the bag, the mint sauce was filled about a third of the way up compared to the mango chutney which was filled to the brim and tasted like syrup, the chips were barely cooked and i could fold the poppadoms in half they were that stale. I've never complained to a take away before but was that appalled with the experience I rang Hungry House who contacted the restaurant who just said they were busy and apologise, if i was in a restaurant I would have walked out once I had waited ages for a stale poppadom not even to get on paying for a main course. This was the worst service I have ever had from a takeaway and wouldn't recommend anyone to eat here unless they need a cheap bullet proof vest then they can use one of the Corianders stale poppadoms.

food took 2hrs to be delivered and when it got to me it was stone cold and the popadoms where soggy i phoned them up and the girl on the phone said i was lying and spent the time arguing with me she wouldnt give me a refund or send out new hot food and said the manager was out when i asked to speak to them and then she hung up she was very rude and i was dissapointed as normally the food is good wont be using them again
