Having been a patient of Adrian's since 1991 it was with some trepidation that I had to see someone else now he's retired- he was going to be a tough act to follow for sure as his experience was unrivalled and we got on very well. I needn't have worried however, Jatinder was superb and has clearly learnt from the best and I'm confident he'll do as good a job as Adrian did. Also Chris and Mikey on reception were a pleasure to talk to and deal with. The new decoration and refit looks nice too!
I been with D&W for over 30 years. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Specialists in toric lenses for astigmatism. All staff are lovely and you always get a real personable service.
I have been attending for 50 years and seeing Adrian for 40 of those. Service has been spectacular and, I know I shouldn't be but I am so sorry I don't need contact lenses any longer! The whole practice is absolutely superb and deserves all the praise it can get. I would never want to go anywhere else. Exceptional service, extremely nice, competent and professional staff, responsive to my queries and requests, world class assessment equipment, offers different strength contact lenses in each eye resulting in perfect short distance left eye and long distance right eye vision without the hassle of varifocal contact lenses.

Top drawer in every aspect. I first bought lenses from them in 1981 and have been a very happy customer ever since. Their focus on eye health, the application of the latest technology and the skill and professionalism of staff is refreshing in the current climate of volume selling. I trust this company to put my needs as a priority. I have just ordered a new set of gas permeable lenses and couldn't be more pleased with the service and outcome
I have been wearing rigid gas-permeable RGPs contact lenses for 30 years now. I moved to the UK a few years ago, and decided to go to the Contact Lens Practice to get new RGPs. Unfortunately, my experience was not as positive as those of the other reviewers. I do not fault the expertise of the staff: I think they do amazing work to test eye health using a range of technologies. Initially, my RGPs were not the correct strength but these were replaced in a few weeks. However, these positives do not outweigh the negatives. The RGPs I was given by the Contact Lens Practice were approximately 4-times more expensive than the ones I previously had. Unfortunately, they had very poor comfort eyes drying out very quickly, certainly compared to my previous RGPs. After struggling for a while, I visited them and they told me they could perhaps get me very expensive larger contacts but they would cost between £750-1000!. Instead I went to a high-street chain, got excellent RGPs from Bausch and Lomb for only 25% of the price I was charged at the Contact Lens Practice, so I won't be coming back there soon. Perhaps my eyes are somewhat unusual but make sure to check at least the price of the RGPs you can get here and compare them with what you would pay elsewhere.
This is a place of obvious expertise where they are adaptable in best meeting customers' needs. I have been with them for many years. If you are considering contact lens don't hesitate, go there! Very friendly, efficient and professional. Always makes an OUTSTANDING impression.
