I absolutely love these two amazing, lovely, down to earth couple Jenny is hilarious and soooo lovely and Asa is straight forward, with his, it is what it is professional opinion‍ which I love. Their attention to detail is second to none and their experience in their craft is second to none. I also have to mention their optician Poonam who is also amazing, professional, and also so lovely. I recommend these guys constantly. I’ve bought many glasses over the years but nothing like the options you have with them. Outstanding!!!! xx
Previously lived in Birmingham and used Piccadilly Opticians but have subsequently moved down South. My prescription has change in my glasses that I previously purchased from Piccadilly. I spoke with Jenny, who organised getting my lenses updated. I made the request on Tuesday, and had my new lenses and glasses back by Friday on the same week. A rapid turnaround time and a fantastic customer experience.
A great opticians. Eye test was relaxed and thorough and they helped me choose some very trendy specs that really suit me. My glasses were ready in less than a week and they took the time to make sure they fitted well. Only negative is that their glasses are very pricey but you get what you pay for.
My husband and I think that Piccadilly Opticians are the best opticians in Birmingham. They provide an amazing customer service and offer frames that are unique and never found in any other optician’s shops. Their exceptional customer care, unique range of frames and magnificent in-house optician provide a service that always exceeds our expectations. We continually get complementary comments wherever we go about our glasses. Our only regret is not having discovered Piccadilly Opticians in Birmingham sooner !
Great service, wonderful selection including my favourite DITA. Poonam the optician is fantastic and has time to explain and care about your eyes. In a world of monotonous high street opticians and the same old brand and safe styles, Piccadilly Opticians offers something aspirational and different.
Amazing customer service - the nicest people ever! Jen went above and beyond to help me get new glasses after I snapped mine in half. Despite my tight schedule and the bank holiday, she managed to submit a rush request for new transition lenses and send them to my next destination in London after providing me temporary clear lenses, that I can use as my backup now! It's worth mentioning that she took care of the shipping and even responded to my messages outside of work hours, which is truly exemplary customer service! Trust me, you won't find a better place for glasses in Birmingham!
Great service from Jen, Asa and Poonam from the first time I walked in. I was made to feel really welcome and given lots of help choosing the right frames. Poonam gave me a really thorough eye test and explained everything really clearly. I bought two pairs of frames and had new lenses in my old frames. It was a really lovely experience shopping for glasses here and I will definitely recommend and return.
The team at Picadilly take the time to ensure a perfect outcome with a great choice of specs to suit everyone. Add in friendly banter and a welcome cup of coffee, the overall experience is a pleasant one. Time is taken to ensure a bespoke service which is sadly missing from some of the optical giants that offer cheaper alternatives. I now love wearing glasses.
Do not shop here if you’re of ethnic origin, where the black Hispanic Asian or Pakistani. Take a photo of the glasses and buy From Elsewhere. British Asian origin, face racism, when I was there and prejudice. I attempted to open the door, lady came out and with disdain and pointed to by an appointment as if I couldn’t understand English, considering I am a doctor by profession. I found it highly insulting and clearly they lost business but that’s beside the point. Please don’t shop here if you’re ethically minded and do not condone racism of any sort. Happy new year fellow customers. Xxx
I couldn't agree more with the comments from the 5* reviews - from making the appt - to the very thorough eye test with Poonam who explained everything throughout - to jenny who also helped me choose my previous frames- nothing was too much trouble -she showed me 8 frames that I liked - so I was spoilt for choice- glasses were ready within the week - I collected them today & I'm very pleased with them- Jen & Asa are both lovely - I really look forward to going to Piccadilly Opticians - nothing is too much trouble- thanks.
