So I phoned the doctors this morning the 2nd of May 2019 I was looking for an appointment to obviously to get some medication. So I was told by the receptionist that the next available appointment would be on the 20th of May which to me I felt it’s long time to wait to get medication. I have two weeks left of medication however what she did say that if I was to phone up in the morning after 8 o’clock that I could get emergency appointment. I don’t see getting tablets would be an emergency I would hate to feel that I’m taking this appointment away from somebody that really needs it somebody is having a heart attack or elderly person falling or even somebody really needs the appointment. It’s a shame that it’s come to this way that you have to phone up an emergency to just to get appointment for prescription. I did explain to the reception that I feel bad taking disappointment away from somebody else however her attitude was the way she spoken to me was I don’t make the rules. I apologise to her the way I felt having to get an emergency appointment to see the Doctor for follow up prescription for tablets.
