Stunning views around Shrewsbury and Shropshire
It's an amazing view from the top, you see beyond Shrewsbury on a good day. Only problem they don't open often enough. I was very fortunate to go on a sunny summer day.
Drove by and saw people on the top. Pulled in and walked up and they were doing the last tour up of the day. Really wonderful guides squeezed us in. Great view from the top.
Very good views and the man giving the talk at the beginning was very good and interesting. Need to be relatively fit to do the climb up and you also need a good head for heights.
I'm not sure if it's as high as Nelson's column but it's worth a look if that's your bag
