This is one of the friendliest pubs I have ever visited. The owner isn't just there to serve beer; he'll order you a takeaway, order a taxi or give you advice on the local area. If you're staying nearby this is a must visit. And the drinks prices are incredibly reasonable. Ignore the older reviews... This place is under new management, and has been totally refurbished!

Ignore the 2 star review, the place has been completely revamped by the new owner. Very friendly, super cheap and extremely welcoming atmosphere. Had a great evening before getting up the next morning to ride the trails at Bike Park Wales.

bit gruby and smelly. Can't wait to see what it will be like once the new owners have gutted. lots of potential there.
