Had a lovely meal passing through Merthyr Tydfil, the starters of Calamari and Garlic mushrooms were really tasty and the Fish and chips were huge! Really friendly staff definitely recommend.
Awesome place serving a mix of British and Portuguese fair. My wife had sausages with peas, mash and a delicious gravy and lots of it!. I had piri piri chicken with chips and salad. Both of our plates were licked clean well, not really but you get the idea. Our server was fantastic. Highly recommended.
If you want to revisit the 1980’s with tasteless frozen probably since the 80’s vegetables, cremated salmon and zero service qr code link to website to order you food. Plus, you want to pay top restaurant money, for example this tasteless dish in the pic was £22. Plus, you like to pay for a double gin & tonic, but then get a drink that tastes of just tonic, then this is your dream restaurant. Even the peas had no flavour.
Was looking like a sad pot noodle in the hotel room until we found this place, choice of options for vegans, few more for the veggies, plenty for carnivores.nI had the Vegan skewer- just check with your server as it can be cooked on the same grill as the meat- not an issue for me.nCompany had the Vegan special burger- double patty with crispy onions, apparently equally as excellent.nMassive skewer for £20. Vegan sausage was flavourful, about half a block of perfectly cooked tofu and assorted charred veggies provided plenty of flavour. Served with a side of chips and salad. Nice to be able to have some flavourful protein in a vegan meal. Full afterwards but not uncomfortably so.nService was warm, responsive and friendly. Pub itself was ticking over, lots of people enjoying some equally amazing looking food!
Went here on a Tuesday evening. We partially chose it for the good reviews but also because they had good vegetarian and vegan options. Inside was tastefully decorated and felt warm and cosy, even with all the Halloween decorations. Staff were generally cheery, though at times it took a bit of time to catch their eye - nothing major though. Considering it was a Tuesday night, it was busy!nnI had the chicken caesar salad which I really enjoyed, there was a lot of chicken! We also got the dirty fries without bacon and they were lovely and cheesy, with almost every chip coated.
