Great, friendly service and delicious food, with a generous portion of chips. A special thanks to Nads for making sure our food was cooked separately to meet our dietary requirements and allergies. Thanks also to Nick, Jill, and Roxy for making our visit so enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back on our next visit!
Rip off.nnNot great at all, and frankly, ridiculously over priced.nnFor about £16 you get a plain sausage, a morsel of cod mostly batter and a less than generous scoop of chips.
4 adult portions of Fish, chips and curry sauce - delicious! Good size fish portion, crispy batter, chips good size, crispy on outside but fluffy on the inside, tasty curry sauce! Thanks ‘The Cod Father’
We found this little beauty 3yrs ago......food amazing. They do an OAP meal, fish, chips and a tea or coffee for a tenner. Really great value, service, so friendly.
My father in his 85th year always tells me: “If you’re in a new town, find the chippy with the longest queue.” This was it – and rightly so! We only waited about 10 minutes, and it was absolutely worth it.nnOur second visit to the area, and our second time here – both times the fish and chips have been exceptional. Properly wrapped in paper none of those awful cardboard boxes! and served piping hot. Staff were working their socks off, balancing takeaway orders with the sit-down restaurant, yet still friendly and efficient.nnPrices are more than reasonable, especially in an area with plenty of competition – clearly this little shop is doing something very right. Fish and chips can be hit or miss, but my top tip is to go on a Saturday night just after they’ve opened – that’s when fish and chips are at their very best.nnAnd as you can see from my photo, nothing better than eating fish and chips in the car overlooking Kingsbridge Quay – what could be better?
