Everything you would want from a good Indian restaurant and more!nnCourteous and attentive staff ensuring you are relaxed and well looked after, whether you are a couple like us out on an anniversary date or a larger party as we experienced, nothing is too much.nnSpacious clean restaurant with a a fantastic ambience to socialise and enjoy your evening. We are based in Padstow which is known for its food outlets and high standards and the Maha Bharat is definitely something we are missing.nnThank you for a lovely evening and hope to see you soon on our next visit to the Kingsbridge area.nnMr & Mrs James
We were recommended Maha as we were staying in a holiday let Knap Mill Pod and we were not disappointed! My partner who would eat curry every day if could said it was one of the best he has ever had! Not to mention the staff were lovely on the phone and the driver was amazing! Please please move to London to show them how real restaurants operate!
Came here tonight after plans had changed last minute. They were very accommodating despite being quite busy. All food was great, from start to finish. Great choice of good quality accompaniments for the poppadoms, wide variety of drinks both alcoholic and non and curries to choose from, and the staff are happy to help you decide and also happy with any alterations that you'd like to make to dishes, as it's all made freshly. Speaking of the staff, they gave great service and were super friendly, and the ambience of the restaurant was nice and chilled, and decorated well
One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever been to! Service was 10/10, so friendly from start to finish. The food is amazing and the menu is extensive so there’s something for everybody. They also cater for dietary requirements. Would 100% recommend if you’re in the area - it does get busy even during the week so would recommend booking beforehand.
Went for a meal here while on holiday in Torquay, food was great service was lovely and place itself was amazing. Very clean and staff was very pleasant. We had the sheek kebab starter which was lovely not as spicy as we am used to be it was still nice. The madras curry was perfect not to hot just right for a madras. Will definitely go back when in the area again.
