Really friendly locals!! 

The bar prices are a little high at £4.70 for a pint of Guinness but the place is clean with a reasonable amount of very comfortable seating. The bar has its patrons who will happily share a tale or two with you making for a pleasant environment. Staff are friendly and do their best to get to you quickly. I didnt see any bar games going on and there was no pool table, however lots of people chatting makes for a nice environment too.

Excellent food from a continually changing menu. Best pint of Adnams anywhere but food not served 7 days a week so check first.

Visited for lunch with my mother. Beautiful pub, fantastic staff and excellent food. Will definitely go again

Nice atmosphere on a Friday afternoon, just sat by the fire and chilled with a pint. Not too formal, but clean and lovely interior. Bar lady was approachable and efficient.

Fantastic local pub, real ales, Sunday roast,(book advisable), outside seating, live bands, lunch tues-fri, friendly staff, well behaved dogs allowed, kids play area over the road.
