Beer in plastic glasses, other pubs use proper glasses, beer does not taste as good on plastic. Booked a table outside in advance, service good and with smiles. Will I go back not with plastic glasses. Left other pubs with plastic glasses, this one meet up with family who live near bye, otherwise. Sorry.
Lively pub with a local feel to it though the clientele are a bit posh. There is quieter seating in a large space upstairs. Televisions around to watch the games. Staff are friendly and helpful.
We had goat cheese tart and steak. Very delicious! Place looks authentic. There are sport translations as well.
Quiz night was a lot of fun and the atmosphere was great, but the food was terrible. Should have sent it all back to the kitchens. Even the pancakes at the end would have been far superior if they had come out of a supermarket packet. As a pub for a drink and a quiz - great place though, so don't be put off.
Aperol spritz was very weak. When we politely asked about it, the manager said the reason was that it wasn’t Aperol but a knock off version that was lighter in colour. They refused to add a splash more more despite us buying several rounds. Very poor customer service.
Top pub in Victorian residential area. Warmth and community spirit exude from this comfortable and convivial establishment!! Really wonderful to wind down in or party on. Gets my TD rating TOP DRAWER. Don't miss.
Great pub, they are trying they best to manage the social distancing, would help if the road was closed
Great Open Mic Night on a Wednesday - always some great surprising talent
Nice and cosy pub. Drinks are fine, food is ok. Lovely local crowd. Good for watch footy games or bar games.
