This is a lovely place to stay and would recommend to anyone. Rooms were clean, very comfortable beds, lovely little touches and a wonderful breakfast. Hosts and staff were friendly and helpful what more can you ask.

Quaint old fashioned b and b in the nicest possible sense. The owners were lovely people who just couldn't do enough for you. Catered to my awkward diet of gluten free vegetarianism. Provided me with a twin room at no extra cost to allow me to stay on the ground floor as they had no lift and I find stairs a challenge. They found a perching stool from somewhere for in the shower for me. As they were both in their 80s themselves, I think they went above and beyond the call of duty in providing for my disability. I almost felt guilty for accepting all the help considering their age. They were considerably more sprightly than me however. They are very particular about how things are done, which could be irritating to some people but is just their manner. Good bed Good breakfast Good people Thank you from me and Tich A photo of what is a small and inconspicuous notice about towels that I didn't notice until the night before Tich and I were leaving, when it fell off the wall. So if staying at the Chudleigh try and get in the habit straight away with your towels. Plus the pier under an ominous sky A selection of the many gulls that have made Clacton their home and trained holidaymakers to buy bags of chips with which to feed them. Some of the wind generators that lurk off the Sunshine Coast

A great Bed and Breakfast, quality rooms which will rival some 4 star hotels.

Can't fault it, the room is spacious, the bed comfortable, plenty of tea a coffee in room and they leave bottled water in room. The breakfasts are delicious, plenty of cereals to choose from, more than enough items to opt for in the full English with toast and a variety of jams, would highly recommend The Chudleigh
