We've pretty much been visiting The Chip Shop at least once a week for the past year now. Staff are very friendly, good portion sizes and prices, great tasting food. On the contrary to some other reviews they do take card payments but prefer cash whenever possible, I don't personally mind as I can appreciate the card transaction fees just force you to put your prices up. One or two slight mistakes over a LOT of visits but we're all human and nothing that would stop me returning regularly. Keep up the good work

This is our go-to takeaway when we fancy fish and chips, kebabs, scampi or burgers best hawaiian burgers EVER!. Really great staff when we pop in, and really easy to order for delivery. Always arrives super quick and piping hot.  Great value too. Highly recommended.Food: 5/5

Been using The Chip Shop ever since moving to the area in the last 8 months. Amazing food, the quality of the food is always fresh, highly tasty and superb selection. Always extremely clean the staff as well as the chip shop. The staff are always friendly courteous and are always very personable. Best chips, kebabs, fish is 5 star. The best one in the local area and actually pass 2 other similar restaurants where I live to get my food from The Chip Shop. Must try if you haven't already.

Decent, can't really complain. Always go there during work to get something to eat. The worst part is they're closed on Sunday.  Vegetarian options: Only a few options  Parking: Just parked on the main road. Easier.
