Celebrated my sisters birthdays with a nice family meal. The staff did a fantastic job considering there was 12 of us. I opted for the ultimate fish and chips, which was served hot and was very tasty. No complaints about the service or food from our party. Good food, good prices, and fantastic service.
So I was in town for work and as I haven’t been to the UK in over 20 years, really wanted to hit up a British pub.nnMission accomplished. Proper pie and chips with a Guiness. Lovely service and just all round great. Absolutely recommend
Meals were excellent for me , and 2 more adults and granddaughters child meal.. Meals were very well presented and staff were polite and no pressure on on us. .
A group of us came last night for our Xmas get together. I have to say everything was outstanding. The quiz was on which we joined into. The atmosphere was fab, the food was amazing. The service, outstanding. Credit to all at the chieftain. The place was full and still managed to get everyone’s food out together.
Visited 05/12: the food wasn’t great, I had chicken pie and the pastry was dry. The chips seemed old. The dessert was nice, I had Oreo waffles.nI didn’t use the disabled toilets so cannot comment on them.nThere could be more disabled spaces but I found one when I visited.nThe staff were pleasant.
