Really lovely pub, very clean and nicely decorated with friendly staff. I went there today for brunch and it was delicious, much better than the cafes in the town centre. My only criticism is that the only orange juice they do is the bottled Schweppes kind - would be nice to have fresh orange juice with brunch.
Second time of coming here - my wife and I had pizzas both times and I’ve got to say, genuinely one of the nicest pizzas we’ve ever had. The staff are super friendly and overall could not be more impressed. 100% recommend
Stopped in for a bite to eat on Thursday and was met with a fantastic setting and an extensive menu with the added bonus of a set price Thursday menu.nGreat choices and really good food.nStaff were polite and friendly and very helpful.nPlease though people, ensure you pay your way. These good folk work hard and they're not doing it for free
Took my parents for dinner tonight with my hubby. We could not fault anything. We all had the most delicious, fresh food. We thought we wouldn't be able to fit dessert in but some how we did. The service was fantastic and the food truly amazing. Thanks for a great night. Will definitely we come back
Visited for Sunday lunch. This is a real local gem, cosy interior good selection of beers. Friendly welcome and friendly service throughout. Lunch platter was delicious with thick cut but juicy meat and excellent roast potatoes and perhaps the cheesiest cauliflower. Desserts were decent too. Really nice pub.
