The Centurion

I can't say I've had bad meal here. Being a number of times have a selection of foods. Went with a group of his previously so saw the vegan and vegetarian options. They looked really nice and reported that they was very tasty. Quite a food is good. It comes out hot services. Reasonably quick depends on how busy they are. Most recently, as I said, went in a group of us. One of us have a halloumi burger , a. Catsu curry. It was a vegetarian. Something not very nice all that reasonable price. Will keep continuing to return

Visited here so many times across the years and it's always been a great place for food to go too, or even just a quick drink to meet friends or family. The most recent visit was today where we had the bottomless brunch which was yummy. And also a previous visit a couple of weeks ago I chose the seabass option which I've added a photo too. There's a lot of choices of food to suit everyone's diets as well as a kid's menu. There is a pub quiz on a Thursday that I've been to on and off which is always great fun. Even managed to come 2nd one time!

Very clean comfortable restaurant. Excellent service our waitress was amazing really looked after us a party of 12. The food was well presented good size portions and very tasty all at a very reasonable price.

Beer always good here and staff always pleasant, however won’t be rushing back for food in a hurry - the surf part of the surf and turf was 5 small prawns and the Peppercorn sauce an additional extra watery and tasteless. My partners fish and chips reported to be tasteless and lacking in size - sorry centurion - great pub fir beer but overpriced , tasteless food .

I’m not a drinker and so I don’t frequent the Centurion for drinks. My visit was to collect a takeaway of fish and chips. And they were damn good too, really, probably better than most fish and chip shops, I was surprised!

Christmas dinner at the Centurion was outstanding. The food was lovely, the staff so accommodating and the hosts couldn't do enough to make guests feel welcome. Superb

This is a nice pub as chain pubs go. Good level of cleanliness and service with a smile. I ordered the grilled salmon with potatoes and green beans plus a side salad. The salmon was lovely but the rest looked like it was cooked hours ago and was quite shrivelled to be honest. The atmosphere was lively and quite loud as we went on a Saturday night. But that's what you expect really. I would go again.

Desserts weren’t as advertised, Belgian chocolate brownie sunday cubes of chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce, whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles came as a small triangle of brownie chocolate sauce and a little scoop of ice cream, The Salted caramel chocolate bar luxurious cookie dough with salted caramel ice cream, coated with milk chocolate and biscoffi log came with no cookie dough and was basically a salted caramel choc ice. Mains was okay but was overly dissatisfied with the desserts. Staff were lovely

Landlord amd his wife are rude and obnoxious to say the least. I have been here a couple of times and it is always the same. I have never been some where that seems like your custom is a inconvenience fish was microwaved and soggy

I was pleasantly surprised about my meal here last night. I ordered via the app and so there is no need for table service, although that is available if required. The meal itself was nice, and it came out within 20 minutes of placing the order and at a good price too, I definitely recommend and I'll be back.
