Well. We have lived around the area for 20 years but never even took a second look at this place as it had a bad reputation. HOWEVER, after hearing that the Castle Inn had been took over by another company we thought we would give it a shot. What an amazing place. The quality and standard of food is amazing! It was some of the nicest food I have ever tastes. Seriously. Fresh and hot. The staff and the service was also amazing. Very kind polite and thoughtful. One of the ladies even asked me if I would like a glass of water while I was nursing my baby; which has never happened before, anywhere! They had a box of activities for children; books and crayons; which my other child loved! They even allowed dogs on the other side of the restaurant which I thought was brilliant as I am a dog owner myself. Nappies in the changing toilets. Amazing touch! It's little touches like this which make a place perfect. I will definitely be returning and spreading the word of how amazing it is here now. I really cannot pick fault.

Staff very friendly. Quick service. Food was delicious. We were just a bit warm where we were seated. Apart from that a 5 star rating. Loved the plant given at the end of the meal. A great personal touch

Excellent friendly service, lots on the menu. Very clean and bright, dog was made welcome with towels to wipe their paws, their own barrel of drinking water and doggie biscuits. Beer good too, will definitely be going back.

The best time out! The perfect place to go if you enjoy good food, and a laugh! The pudding was incredible! Mel's delicious chocolate cheesecake was moreish! Also, very welcoming and friendly staff.

Great place to dine, friendly helpful staff makes you feel welcome, was recommended by a friend and it didn't disappoint, word of warning, the share starters are huge, me and friend had a share starter that we finished but was too full to finish the mains lol defo go again. Was lovely, thank you very much
