the food here is normally a 10/10 but the experience is awful. they do not accept card it’s 2022?? so we had to go and get cash. we asked if there was a cash machine available and they said yes which normally would be fine. however, it was broken and then they made us drive to the town centre to get cash. they didn’t keep the food hot and let it go cold. we do not carry cash anymore nor feel comfortable using it. when we got home, the food was so cold and watery.
Ordered Chinese tonight asked for it to be vegan and it comes with egg in the noodles even though we specified!! Wouldn’t recommend if you have intolerances as this could be serious!! They made us RETURN THE DISH even though they got it wrong to swap it and even had the cheek to say they would charge us!!!!! Literally had to DRIVE to Go East and my actual food went cold at home couldn’t make it up then had to wait for a fresh one Minus egg… Seriously considering reporting them to food standards, absolutely disgusting service. Do NOT. Recommend!!
First time visit - excellent food, would highly recommend!!Food: 5/5
This is the best Chinese takeaway within a 50 mile radius… at least! The food is fresh, and tasty. The vegetables are crisp, the rice separates nicely and isn’t starchy, all the ingredients used seem to taste separated, nothing tastes bland and all the flavours are apparent. Highly recommended.

Im not the one for writing reviews but in this case I will... Extremely disappointed with tonight's takeaway. Partners duck curry was watery, bland and lacked duck, my sons king prawn fried rice contained only 2 prawns. Very unhappy won't be returning
Had the best Chinese I've had in a long time tries different ones and not to satisfaction. Go east smells amazing when you collect all fresh made and when you get home to eat well its just the best ever. Undoubtedly the best Chinese you will ever eat.
Good Chinese grub! Very good selection and quality - and you can park 'cos it's out of town! However, whilst the food is tasty, the waits are long and the premises small, which gives one time to look around and see just how grubby the premises actually are. And be warned - it is cash only and credit cards are of no use! Incidentally, delivery is available. I find it best to order by telephone in advance and collect at the appropriate time. Parking: Free, outside premises
Absolutely fantastic. We have had a takeaway from here twice now and both times we had fantastic service, the food was amazing and very good value for money. Definitely the go to Chinese takeaway in the area
