Great pub with really friendly staff and a good selection of drinks from ales to cocktails. Atmosphere was nice and had a good bit of outdoor seating for a sunny day. Clothe venue was clean and tidy including the toilets. Kitchen was closed so can’t comment on the food as we had to go elsewhere.
This place was really nice after long walk around Oxford. We’ve had a really good time. The food was served pretty well salad was so delicious and it’s not overpriced at all the places quite cosy nice and there are some screens to watch football games
Busy pub in central location between Cowley Rd, Iffley Rd, St Clements, and Oxford City Centre. Extensive range of drinks, bar snacks and food menu. Outdoor seating at the front and back of the pub. Only complaint - the heating lamps in the booths outside back garden automatically turn off within less than 1 minute, so we were constantly having to press the switch the entire time we were sat out there. We only stayed for one drink but may have stayed longer if it weren't for this.
Went for a pub quiz with a group of people. The staff were a bit all over the place and the service was no different. Although the food was good it took a while to come and the drinks were incredibly overpriced. The quiz itself was good fun and suitable for a range of ages and abilities, quiz master made every effort to be entertaining.
Great pub serving great range of cask and keg beers, decent food, good location on multiple bus routes across the city.
Great pub for a stop off and people watching on the plane roundabout friendly staff
A largish pub with a great selection of drinks. It's well-run with a focused, dedicated team. The interior is very nice: spacious, clean and comfortable. Football on big screens
Great place for some decent food and a nice pint. The staff here were good and great to chat with. It was a bit weird with the dim lit lights and dinner atmosphere on a Wednesday with club music playing in the background. This pub has board games too, which my friends and I enjoyed playing on our last trip. Its not somewhere we go often, but when we do it’s very good. The price is moderate to high more on the high side for students and graduates.
Thankyou for an amazing meal and atmosphere, my husband and I passed by the Cape and thought we would pop in for a quick drink and snack. However the young lady who served us was so lovely we stayed for some wonderful food and a couple of cocktails. Pascalle advised on some wonderful food, tried the pedron peppers very similar to Spanish ones. Also had some fries which were hot and tasty. The atmosphere of the Cape is friendly with a warmth I haven't seen in a while will definitely be going back. Please try the espresso martini .
Came here for a couple of drinks, they have a lovely back garden area where you can watch football, with sofas and heaters, perfect to smoke as well. Bar tender was really nice. Good beers!
