Good pub with live music upstairs. Probably not one for a quiet chat as it can be a bit more lively than some, but a decent place for a pint. Not the widest selection of drinks, but what is on offer is pretty good.
Proper pub, great vibe. Great staff great music
A typical Oxford spit and sawdust pub with no parking and Music on different days. Lots of steps inside and outside so not recommended for those with limited mobility.
Pretty good pub, only the one handpump but one is better than none especially as the TT Landlord was in good nick.
Staff very friendly and welcoming The sunday roast was to die for great job to 5he chef
A very popular and lively pub. Boasting a quirky layout and design with a beautiful spacious garden area.
Awful burger the bun was charcoal black when I sent it back I was asked ‘do I not want it toasted?’ And no apology they sent the same split cold patty back in a new bun that to be fair wasn’t burnt but for £11 burger and small chips I expect much better. My last review here was 4 star which I’ve had to change to 1. Such a shame, place seems to be going down hill food wise. Would no longer recommend eating here. Also my pint was 3/4 full with response and service I got over the burger I did not feel comfortable even asking the moody barmaid to top it.
Port Mahon was always a great pub, with live music and lots of space to hang out and dance but now its Corona time so its not really the same and before it was 5 stars, now its 4 because of few things, they dont serve food and would have liked that, they cant wait for you to finish the drink and go away, feels unfriendly. Overall its a nice pub but not so much now.
Welcoming place with a fireplace and serviable staff. However, this place needs some renovation works. We came for Sunday roast, and the plate was looking good, but the beef was not cooked properly, and we didn't appreciate the gravy source it was all over on our plate already Regards
Really nice, friendly pub! Good beer, great staff. Beer garden is fab!
