The Button Factory is a nice restaurant/pub to go for casual food and drinks. There is a large bar area where you can sit and enjoy drinks from the extensive drinks list including beers, cocktails and wines, huge variety. There is also another area with an open kitchen, where you can enjoy some food. Went there on Saturday for some lunch. It was quite busy but a member of staff found us a table quickly and sat us. At that moment the menu offered brunch. Plenty of small plates, mains, sides and desserts. Everything was absolutely delicious and homemade. The staff were all very friendly and helpful! Overall very nice experience and definitely going back soon!
The atmosphere were very nice, very industrial but cosy look. The place is perfect for small to big group hangout. First of my disappointment were they do not do Guinness at all!! Anyway they have standard collection of beers, ciders, wines and cocktails. Most of the foods were 8 on 10 but the Calamari was best 10 on 10, I highly recommend of trying that. We had Buddha bowl forbgot to add chicken, so make sure you do so otherwise it wont fill you. Fish and chips and the other dish were average as well. Hope you can enjoy
Pretty classic burger, but really fresh and tasty!! The atmosphere was pub like and the staff was really polite. The only thing that was a bit meh, was the price, since it was on the expensive side, for a neighborhood pub, I mean. Would go again, to see the place in a more busy day.
Apparently the place looks ok, so we decidwd to have some burgers there. Apart from the fact that the burger was flooded with mustard their special sauce I don't remember much about it, very under average burger and the chips were half burned ... interesting, I didn't ask for super crunchy chips ... If I have to highlight a positive one, the staff was very friendly and helpful so hey ho! The wood floor by the bar been removed and looks quite bad. If that wasn't enough wait until you go to toilets and you see those urinals with green stuffs underneath and the top pipes look that they are growing some fungus mixed with metal corrosion... absolutely terrible. I would give them zero stars, but one is the minimum... never again! After all of those we been surprised that we didn't have good poisoning... so maybe is ok to give them a star Ah, don't be surprised if you get service charge... is there, very little text at the end of the menu .... cheers!
Booked Sunday lunch for mother's day I have to say the food was delicious asked for extra gravey and got an XL size boat. Veg cooked aldentay, and massive portion for a kids Sunday lunch. Atmosphere was lovely light and friendly.
This place is always buzzing with people whenever we go by and today we booked a table for Sunday Lunch. Lovely decor inside, really friendly staff. I had the Sunday Roast beef and it was ok, steak knives would have helped with beef and mine was unfortunate to have a line of gristle running through, it tasted good although chewy, Yorkshire pudding was a little overcooked and I maybe should have asked for more gravy. Live music started at 2:30 and the singer had a great voice and added to the experience. We did move elsewhere for puddings though as it was too loud for conversation. Would maybe have given 3.5/5 but bumped it up to 4 rather than down to 3 as felt that was too low. Well worth a visit once.
Hot spot! Full of beautiful people and staff that can make a proper shandy lager. The terrace is selling point and if you want to enjoy it, better book in advance. In terms of food I only had a small plate, some coated chicken with garlic yoghurt dip and fries. It was ok. Cheers
A fantastic and understated restaurant! The atmosphere was great and the food was exceptional. Will definitely be back in the future. We had a few starters to share, calamari was amazing and the lamb flatbread was to die for. We also had Chipotle chicken, burger and the swordfish.
Great atmosphere. Awful food. Couldn't pick a better spot for a nice conversation and a few drinks with a view of the sunset. Up high with a view and the wind was even blocked so it didn't get chilly. However: •Ordering only via app. Took forever to set up. No one even offered drinks to get us started. •Only one cider on tap. •Did not specify starters & mains should come out together, yet they did. •Fried chicken starter came out soggy. •Only sachets of condiments offered. Not really enough •Burger was overcooked Wouldn't eat there again but if you like beers there's a decent variety & a great deck to sit and drink it on.
Not very good customer service as waiting in a quiet bar for 25 minutes to get served. We were asked for payment before knowing what our order was. We were next to be served but 15+ more people got served before we did and no apology and sloppy looking cocktail was served. I complained and only then did we get an apology. Not wanting to return for this reason. How awful. Good job the other bars had far superior service to this pretentious place. Train staff, treat ALL customers with respect it is not that hard. Good luck
